Une tablature permets de jouer des chansons sans avoir forcément appris le solfège. Pour le ukulélé on montre les quatre cordes en signalant avec un chiffre la position du doigt. On peut également indiqué des effets, comme le hammer et le pull off vu dans cet article. Attention par convention d’écriture, la corde du bas (A) est la ligne du haut.

Un exemple concret et très simple: Joyeux Anniversaire.

Il existe également des tablatures sous forme d’accords. Il y a en générale les paroles des chansons avec au dessus l’accord joué, comme vous pouvez en trouver ce blog.
Il n’y pas d’indication de rhytme par contre, il est donc nécessaire de connaître la chanson avant de l’a jouer.
Voici un exemple d’accords simples :

On joue toute les cordes avec la main droite en posant les doigts de la main gauche ou sont situés les points noirs. Visualisez le manche du Ukulélé à la verticale face à vous si vous avez du mal à vous figurer dans quel sens sont indiquées les cordes.

Le Ukulélé existe en 4 tailles : Soprano, Concert, Ténor et Baryton. Le plus répandu et original est le soprano.
